About

Our Story. Our Purpose. Our Why.

World Outreach Center began on January 14, 2006 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin where Ervin and Melva shared their vision to reach the City of Milwaukee, its surrounding communities, and the nations of the world with the life-transforming love of Jesus Christ.

Small groups are an essential part of how ministry is done at World Outreach Center where we believe that real life change comes when people are in close, authentic relationships with one another. Through small groups World Outreach Center is big enough to serve you yet small enough to know you.

From the beginning, there has been continued growth in every area of the vision. Adults, youth, and children alike are being impacted as World Outreach Center continues to teach, train, and develop all generations in the uncompromised Word of God.

We believe that every person who walks through the doors of World Outreach Center has a God-given purpose to fulfill in life and we are here to help. From our Sunday morning services to small group ministry, you will experience powerful times of worship as well as life-changing teaching that will help connect you to the passion and purpose God has placed on the inside of you.

We are a ministry focused on connecting and building healthy relationships. We win, mend, disciple, and send, developing believers to do the same and make a difference in the lives of others.

Here at World Outreach & Bible Training Center we recognize that God has uniquely called us to win the lost while at the same time develop the believer. We are not just an ordinary church, but also an accredited Bible Training Center with a passionate desire to equip and send individuals into the harvest fields of the world, that they may fulfill their God given purpose in life.

Our Why

The entire Bible is inspired by God, without error, and the authority on which we base our faith, conduct and doctrine. (2 Tim. 3:16; 1 Thess. 2:13; 2 Peter 1: 21).
We believe in the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit and they are one (Phil. 2:6).
Jesus died on the cross and shed His blood for our sins. (1 Corinthians 15:3; Galatians 4:1)

Salvation is received by placing our faith in what Jesus did for us on the cross.

We believe Jesus rose from the dead and is coming again. (Rom. 5:14; Rom. 3:10; Rom. 3:23; 1 John 3:8).

We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in other tongues. The Baptism in the Holy Spirit is a gift from God as promised by the Lord Jesus Christ to all believers in this dispensation and is received subsequent to the New Birth. This experience is accompanied by the initial evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Holy Spirit Himself gives utterance (Matt. 3:11; John 14:16, 17; Acts 1:8; Acts 2:38, 39; Acts 19: 1-7; Acts 2:4).

Water baptism is a symbol of the cleansing power of the blood of Christ and a testimony to our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. (Matt. 28:19; Rom. 6:4; Col. 2:12; Acts 8: 36-39).

We believe in the regular taking of Communion as an act of remembering what the Lord Jesus did for us on the cross. (1 Corinthians 11:23-31)

Every believer should be in a growing relationship with Jesus by obeying God’s Word, yielding to the Holy Spirit and by being conformed to the image of Christ. (John 15:7, 10; Hebrews 3:7,15; 2 Corinthians 3:18)
Healing is for the physical ills of the human body and is accomplished by the power of God through the prayer of faith and/or by the laying on of hands. It is the privilege of everyone that will believe and is provided today through Christ through whom we have received reconciliation. (Mark 16:18; James 5: 14,15; 1 Peter 2: 24; Matt. 8: 17; Isa. 53: 4, 5).

As children of God, we are overcomers and more than conquerors. God intends for each of us to experience the abundant life He has in store for us. (1 John 2:13, 14; 1 John 4:4; Romans 8:37)

A person who physically dies in sin without accepting Christ is hopelessly and eternally lost in the Lake of Fire, therefore, has no further opportunity of hearing the Gospel or repenting. The Lake of Fire is literal. (Revelation 19:20; Revelation 20:15)

We believe in the resurrection of those who are born again and the Return of our Lord – The angels said to Jesus’ disciples, “. . . this same Jesus . . . shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.” His coming is approaching. When He comes, “. . . the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air . . .” (Acts 1:11; 1 Thessalonians. 4:16, 17)

Following the Tribulation, He shall return to earth as King of kings, and Lord of lords, and together with His saints, who shall be kings and priests; He shall reign a thousand years. (Rev. 20:6)
